Wayne has spent more than twenty years designing, building and supporting renewable and off-grid systems on land and at sea, and the last fifteen years living off-grid himself.
His experience spans homes, farms, remote infrastructure and ocean-going yachts, with a focus on bringing energy, storage, generation and monitoring together into practical systems that work in the real world.

Flore brings a permaculture-led approach to sustainability, land use and resilient living, looking at how people, animals and natural resources can work together rather than in isolation.
Her interest in horses and their relationship with the land brings another perspective to the team , connecting sustainability with the practical realities of managing land, resources and living systems.

George specialises in marine and off-grid systems, combining technical knowledge with genuine experience of relying on them at sea.
Having sailed around the North Atlantic aboard an electrically propelled yacht, he understands what energy independence looks like beyond the drawing board — where generation, storage, propulsion and onboard systems have to perform reliably in demanding conditions.

Joachim brings a systems-thinking approach to complex projects, looking at how individual technologies and components can be brought together into a coherent whole.
Alongside systems design, he's a keen drone pilot and videographer, with a particular interest in using aerial imagery and visual storytelling to survey, understand and document places and projects from a different perspective.

Wayne is a systems engineer with a practical approach to solving technical problems and bringing complex systems together. Based in North Devon, he's also actively involved in the local community, helping to run community events and serving as a senior member of the Coastguard, bringing real-world experience of teamwork, responsibility and operating when things need to work properly.
Let's talk.
Every project starts somewhere.
If you've got an idea, a problem, a place or simply a question, tell us a little about it.
You don't need a specification or a finished plan. That's rather the point.
We'll start with a conversation and see where it takes us.
Visitors by appointment.
